Oopsie Daisy the Caring Clown

Oopsie Daisy

Oopsie Daisy is Twinkles’ almost-twin sister! She brings joy, fun and laughter to residents living in Toronto Long-term Care homes. She grew from the Ryerson Caring Clown Program in 2013. Since then, she visits once a week, sharing a different kind of clowning with the people she meets – folks living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

You may be wondering, “What is a caring clown?” A caring clown does not do magic tricks or balloon animals; she offers herself as a playful visitor, sharing music, laughter and humour in a therapeutic way.
